Angela “Ann” M. (DeBon) Dwyer May 28, 2022 Angela “Ann” M. (DeBon) Dwyer, 97, of Syracuse, passed away Saturday May 28th at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Solvay to the late John and Amelia (Bettio) DeBon in 1924. She graduated from Solvay High Scholl and business school. She first worked at Tennant’s and Remington Rand. She married John “Jack” Dwyer in 1948 and raised two children on Tipperary Hill. After his death in 1972, she returned to work, first at St. Patrick’s School then St. Patrick’s Rectory as secretary and later bookkeeper for over 25 years. She enjoyed traveling, shopping trips, breakfast out, crossword puzzles and was always reading a book. Her favorite spot was the family camp at Mexico Point on Lake Ontario. She is survived by her daughter, Ann (Mike) Brilbeck, son, John (Geraldine) Dwyer, 2 granddaughters, 2 great-granddaughters, 2 cousins and several nieces and nephews. We would like to thank her niece/nurse, Mary Ellen Berg for all her advice and assistance. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 6:00 PM Thursday, June 2nd at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Ave, Solvay. Funeral services will be held 9:15 AM Friday June 3rd at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME and 10:00 AM at St. Patrick’s and St. Brigid’s Church, 216 N. Lowell Ave, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal will follow in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Patrick’s and St. Brigid’s Church, 216 N. Lowell Ave, Syracuse, NY 13204.
