Muriel A. Spier May 15, 2022 Muriel A. (Wallace) Spier, 89, of North Syracuse, joined her beloved husband, Warren “Bud” Spier, on Sunday, May 15, 2022. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of John and Jean Wallace. Muriel was a lifetime member of Eastern Star Centerville Chapter #185 in North Syracuse and was active in the Ladies Social Civic Group and the North Syracuse Seniors. She was predeceased by her grandson, Joshua M. LaGrow in 1994; brother, Gerald Matthews in 2000; husband, “Bud” in 2001; and sister, Elizabeth Monica in 2016. Surviving are her daughter, Cheryl (Wallace) LaGrow; sons, Todd (Dawn) Wallace, Scott Wallace, Brett (Mary Jo) Wallace; step-daughter, Bonnie (Ronald) Ward; step-sons, Robert, Jack (Cynthia), Michael (Carol), William (Bethany), and Scott (Renee) Spier; 31 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. A calling hour will be held from 1-2 pm on Friday, May 27 at the Collamer United Church, 6865 Fly Rd, East Syracuse. An Eastern Star service will begin at 2 pm with a funeral service beginning at 2:15 pm. Burial will be in Collamer Cemetery.
